Heal the World

Image
I keep having this song in my head when I think about the world and what is going on today. I think that truth comes from many places and often times music writers sing a lot of truth! We have an opportunity to truly Make Real Connections. It doesn't matter how: face to face, service, hugs, texts, videos, paying for each others' food, etc... the list goes on and on. Let's work together and Heal the World! One thought, one choice, one action at a time! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nhcG9wqn0gU  At this time, I really am grateful for the Book of Mormon and how it has foreseen our day. There is a lot going on out in the world and can feel overwhelming, doubtful, and fearful. The Gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gives me so much hope and peace, knowing that these days were foreseen and it's a step closer to the return of our Brother and Savior, Jesus Christ.

You know when you have good intentions to start a new project, like a blog and you rock it for a bit... then... life :) Well one of my new goals is to be more consistent on here. I'm shooting for once a month! So ya'll, I just turned 30 years old on April 10! I was going to have a big gathering for it, fire up the canyon, smores and hotdogs, laughter and giggles. haha plans.... So instead I didn't eat all day! It was great! No but really, it was great. Casey and I went for a drive up to Morgan, over through Kamas, and ended the evening with the movie "I Still Believe." I have been working on a list of 30 things to do before 30 for the past few years. And I mostly did it! I still haven't gotten my 5 pull ups, but I will darn it, I WILL! One day. Until then i've plugged another one into there. I'll get it on my 40 before 40 ;) So here it is... 30 before 30 ✅go to all the temples in Utah-2015 ✅Write and record a song- Apr 2020 ✅Do a board break-A...

So Grateful :)

Every day is so incredible. I have sat down to journal at the end of the evenings, and I start out each journal entry saying, "What a good day!" It is so incredible how the Lord loves us. Everyone, THE LORD LOVES YOU!! He is in the details of my life! Of YOUR life! He puts people in our lives at specific times. Some stay a while, some, we don't see again in this life-- which is why we get to choose to live in the moment and soak it up. And some it doesn't matter how often you see them, it feels like you were never apart. The other day at the temple, a sister that was visiting, said to me, so confidently, "I will see you again." I truly feel this way. I go home next week and onto work and the next chapter. I LOVE people, no matter where they are from. I know that all of these people that I have come to know and love, I will see them again, in this life or the next. We are more connected than we know. Anytime we feel lonely, it's the adversary putting in ...

Two Week Vacation

The temple was closed for the past two weeks, so many of us went on a vacation from our vacation! haha I had the chance to go to Venice, Switzerland, and Germany. It's been an incredible two weeks. I have learned SO much! As much as I love the adventure and the experiences of being out of my comfort zone, learning and growing.... There is no place like the temple. I felt so happy tonight when I got back to the temple and was able to peek inside again. It's coming home. I'm grateful for the past two weeks, and I'm grateful to be back to start temple work again Tuesday!  I met another fellow solo traveler. We explored the first day together.  First day in Venice! Lido, is an island in Venice. It's beach, bikes, camping. Such a pretty place You guys... Switzerland has my heart a little bit!  Amy is a coworkers family member and kindly hosted me for my stay in Switzerland! I watched Gene...
