So Grateful :)

Every day is so incredible. I have sat down to journal at the end of the evenings, and I start out each journal entry saying, "What a good day!" It is so incredible how the Lord loves us. Everyone, THE LORD LOVES YOU!! He is in the details of my life! Of YOUR life! He puts people in our lives at specific times. Some stay a while, some, we don't see again in this life-- which is why we get to choose to live in the moment and soak it up. And some it doesn't matter how often you see them, it feels like you were never apart. The other day at the temple, a sister that was visiting, said to me, so confidently, "I will see you again."

I truly feel this way. I go home next week and onto work and the next chapter. I LOVE people, no matter where they are from. I know that all of these people that I have come to know and love, I will see them again, in this life or the next. We are more connected than we know. Anytime we feel lonely, it's the adversary putting in doubt. We have comfort from this side and the other all the time. That's a fact, that's truth. We can fight it, or accept it.  I'm grateful that my faith continues to grow. Everyday will continue to have it's ups and downs, I will continue to need to reach out and share my struggles- I'm grateful to talk through them so I don't ruminate as much.

There are 5 million people in Rome. I ran into Omar at a train station! Pretty neat to see a familiar face. Omar doesn't come to the friendship center for English class anymore because he got a job. 



He truly has his arms open at ALL times! And He truly is  closer to us then we sometimes feel. I'm so grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ and His open arms. 


Tom Holdman (artist of this stained glass) He and his wife gave a wonderful fireside. He taught that it's not about us. It's about doing the Lords work and being open to be an instrument and praying for it. It is nice to be reminded of the real importance of perspective. 

Pam is a fellow temple worker. We work in similar fields. She is from America, but has been living in Italy for the past 2 years. A fun day riding bikes at Villa Borghese.

So grateful for the Andersons for being open to adventures I wanted to go on! From Monticello Utah. Incredible people! 
These special people got here this week! My mom, 2 sisters, and aunt. 


I truly feel like Heavenly Father has tailor maid this experience for me. It's a connection that I've longed for. I'm grateful to have a taste of what I think the next step of the gospel will be and sharing and loving with all the earth. It's so big! So glorious. And as Sister Anderson says "It's not about me." If we can surrender our doubts and "Forget ourself and get to work" It's powerful what the Lord can do with a willing heart. I love Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. I am SO grateful for his unconditional love and understanding, for His willingness to support my dreams and thinking, for His plan of humility and love. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We are super happy with our hostel. The bed is extremely comfy, the bathroom is so close, everything is super accessible and it's really fun to hear so many accents around. We sometimes hear random farts coming from the others, I think it's mainly the Australian guy. Maybe.,. We got up and had some breakfast. The bread and honey was my favorite. The fruit was moms favorite, mainly pineapple. We got ready and walked to church. It's only a 10-15 minute walk. We are staying so close to where we were last weekend, it's nice to know our way around a bit. Last night when we were walking Sarah to her hostel, we passed the church and realized that her place was right by where we stayed last weekend. day 13- sept 13

We woke up and went up to eat at a close by restaurant. That is where we have been eating all day and tomorrow morning. P-Akong shared that the Mirror foundation has given him so many more opportunities. He's been to 8 different countries now. He had many connections and knows many people. Today we helped out two of his friends and tomorrow will help our a third. Today for our meals we ate: boiled rice with pork, little bananas, eggs with pork, eggs, cucumbers, two different types of fruit that we don't remember the name of, watermelon, a broth soup for lunch, fried noodles another soup with tofu stuff for dinner, pork spicy stuff. Our morning task was cleaning out the museum and clean up the yard. Mom and I cleaned first and dusted walls, shelves, sweeped water out, from the ground. day 11-sept 11

We woke up from a very good sleep, got ready for the day. Took a shower that consisted of hot hot water. My experience in Thailand it is either really cold or really hot. Moms been able to find a happy medium. Mom contacted Elder Barlow so that we could keep some things there while we go back to Chiang Rai. We ate breakfast( French toast with honey, fried rice, pineapple, watermelon, and eggs. Some Vegis and mom tried the boiled rice(similar to cream of wheat). We checked out of our hotel and met up with Elder Barlow. Elder Barlow helped us know to take a red truck instead of a Tuktuk to our next destination. We hopped in our taxi and went up to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. It was about a 30 minute drive up the mountains. Up there we hike up 306 stairs to get to Doi Suthep Wat. We saw multiple statues of Buddha and gongs, we hit a really large one, about the size of a car. The view of Chiang Mai from up on the mountain top was amazing and breathtaking.
