day 20- sept 20

We stayed in Reset hostel last night and that'll be where we stay until we leave Friday. It's so fun to meet roommates from all different places and what's brought them here and their stories. We ate some breakfast to start off the day, Petch and his mother came and picked us up for the day to show us around. We drove for about an hour, they were so kind! We sang English songs :) and talked. We started off at Emerald Pool. The walk to te pool was about a mile along a beautiful pathway and it was so green, so many different kinds of plants, and such clear water. Before we swam in the Emerald Pool, we tried to go to the Blue pool, which was just a bit further. The gate was locked and closed, but we attempted to go anyway. After about 20 steps a Thai man saw us and said "come back November." So... I guess we have to come back in November to see the Blue Pool ;) we went swimming in the pool. It was so clear and green. There were little fishes in it that would eat dead skin off of your foot it you let it. We got there pretty early thanks to Petch, we were able to have time to ourselves pretty much before the crowds rolled in. It's a National Park and pretty busy.

After we drove into the city of Krabi. It was pouring rain on our drive in. We got food st a local restaurant. Mom got Prawn curry and I got shrimp spring rolls. Moms curry was pretty spicy, Petch kept mentioned to her that her face was red. It was super funny. Mom ate most of the vegis and prawn and Petch loved the soup of the curry. We then went to the mud-crab monument. Krabi is named Krabi because there are so many crabs here.

They took us Au Nang beach where we took some photos and said farewell to our friends. They went and met up with family, and mom and I went and played in the ocean with the waves and water. It was so much fun. After that, we looked into taking a long boat, but they were closing down for the day so we walked along the street markets and got a couple of things. Then we decided to go find a massage parlor. Massages are super super heap here. $6 for an hour. So we decided to do a two hour traditional Thai massage. A traditional Thai  massage is not what you would call relaxing! They push and dig into muscles you didn't even know you used or maybe don't use. It was horrible and wonderful and everything. Mom and I were laughing so hard about parts of it. The massage ladies left halfway through to wash their hands in preparation to massage our faces and mok looked at me and I said "this is horrible." We laughed so hard and think that we'll have bruises tomorrow, we'll have to see. Thai massages the ladies walk on you and dig their feet into your thighs, etc... crazy expertise. We then hired an illegal Tuktuk and went home. I guess the  tuktuks they use down here aren't legal. We went down to the spot we got our food from last night on the beach and ordered stone baked pizza. Tonight on the beach there were so many crabs crawling around and those suckers are fast!! It was a real good day!
